Wajeeha Abbasi
Brand & Visual Designer / Illustrator
I am a Toronto-based designer and illustrator exploring themes of identity, culture, and the human experience. To me, design is not just about making it pretty - it is about connecting ideas with solutions through storytelling that resonates with people, creating meaningful experiences. Through bold visuals and compelling narratives, inspired by my desi background,
I create strong, confident (mostly female) characters living in vibrant worlds - a fusion of my reality and imagination.
My work has been recognized with a Ladybird Books Publications Award and exhibited at Art Toronto, Now Gallery, and London Design Festival. I have had the opportunity to collaborate
with global brands like NASA, Coca-Cola, British Council, Red Bull, and UN Women.
When I am not working, I enjoy going to concerts, museums and art galleries, screen-printing and linocut, exploring creative mediums, and traveling.
